Can I try a class before I commit?
Absolutely! We want you to experience Move365 coaching and training firsthand and ensure it is the right fit for you. For prospective adults and personal training clients we recommend a 1-on-1 assessment/training session so you can see how we coach and we can see how you move. For youth programs, new participants can come in for a free week of youth classes to ensure it is a good fit for your needs, your schedule and your budget.
Do Holistic Nutrition Programs include Meal Planning?
Holistic Nutritionist Tina R. Ward aims to find the unique nutritional elements that you need to ensure that you can perform and function at an optimal level. This focuses more on individualized nutrition than a generic meal plan. If a meal plan makes sense in your overall nutrition evolution than she will certainly help create one for YOU. Do I need to be an athlete to train at Move365?
At Move365 everyone is an athlete and we are here to help everyone move better and be more athletic. Our coaches are adept at regressing and progressing drills and exercises to fit the needs of each individual, even within a group training environment. Our goal is to help more people move better every day.
How do I book a Physio or Massage appointment?
We are fortunate to have great partners at Elite Sports Medicine and Conditioning in-house with us here at Move365. If you need to book an appointment or speak to them about an injury or issue, you can connect with them HERE.
What should I bring to my first sessions?
Please wear/bring appropriate, active workout clothing, running/training shoes, a water bottle (we have reverse osmosis water filters), and of course a lot of energy. For your first session we will need an intake form that we can send to you ahead of time or can be filled out that day.
How much is a membership?
Move365 is not typical gym. We do not have memberships, we do not have machines and we do not have tanning beds. A typical gym charges you a membership and hopes you never come. We charge you less the more you come and encourage you to come as often as you can to get the best result and the best value for you money. Our goal is to set you up for the best program available to fit your schedule, fit your life and meet your health, fitness and performance goals. We then package our pricing to reward you more as you move more. Is there a changing area/showers etc.?
Absolutely! We have a co-ed dressing room area fashioned after a team dressing room and 4 private washrooms with showers in case you are heading off to work, school or out on the town after your workout (or if you just like to smell better when you leave).
Is there parking nearby?
There is plenty of street parking, multiple Municipal lots, and a couple of secret spots to park for free even during business hours. Street parking and municipal lots only charge from 8am-6pm Mon-Fri. This means early mornings, evening and weekends are FREE.
What is the cancellation policy?
We know it can be extremely difficult to cancel a gym membership Lucky for you, Move365 is not typical gym. A gym charges you a membership and hopes you never come. We charge you less the more you come and encourage you to come as often as you can to get the best result and the best value for you money. If you are not happy with your sessions, your program or your purchase during the first month of your program, we will return the balance of your purchase. If you are not able to attend all of your sessions due to illness, injury, scheduling changes etc we will gladly carry over a credit in the Move365 “bank” into the next season or help come up with a plan to ensure you get the proper value for your sessions.
What are the ages for the kids programs?
At move365 we have youth programs for ages 10-12; 12-14 and 14+ that follow a Long-Term Development model encouraging kids to learn how to move properly, and how to train properly. We strive to ensure kids have fun, learn something new in every session and get a little better every day.
